Governor Meldrim Thomson Jr. Principle Above Politics Chairman's Award

In 2002, the voting members of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee unanimously supported honoring an individual who has demonstrated courageous and principled leadership like the Late Governor Meldrim Thomson Jr. did during his tenure as Chief Executive of the state of New Hampshire.

The Meldrim Thomson Jr. Principle Above Politics Chairman’s Award is presented each year at the New Hampshire Republican State Committee’s Annual Meeting. Nominations may be made by any New Hampshire Republican. The recipient is chosen by the Thomson family in consultation with the Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee.

If you would like to submit an amendment to the New Hampshire Republican State Committee Bylaws click here. Please include the bylaw you wish to amend, your proposed amendment, and contact information.

Please be advised that the New Hampshire Republican State Committee Executive Board will be reviewing any proposed bylaw amendment at the January Executive-Board meeting.

Deadline to submit bylaw amendments and resolutions is 5:00 PM on January 11, 2013.

At the January 2013 Annual Meeting, state committee members will elect the 2013-2014 officers of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee. Below is the list of officers that will be voted on:

Area 1 Vice Char (representing Carroll, Coos and Grafton Counties)
Area 2 Vice Chair (representing Rockingham and Strafford Counties as well the town of Derry)
Area 3 Vice Chair (representing Hillsborough County as well as the cities of Manchester and Nashua)
Area 4 Vice Chair (representing Cheshire and Sullivan Counties)
Area 5 Vice Chair (representing Belknap and Merrimack Counties as well as the city of Concord)
