Concord - New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jennifer Horn released the following statement today applauding the House Republican Budget proposal:

"New Hampshire House Republicans deserve credit for crafting a balanced budget that lives within our means and doesn't raise taxes on working families. This fiscally responsible plan stands in sharp contrast to Governor Hassan's reckless proposal that increases state spending by $1 billion, expands government, and threatens New Hampshire's low tax environment.

"The House Republican plan is a realistic start to the budget process, and it deserves to be approved by the full House."
